CAMPING!

The weekend of September 7th, Leif, Melissa and Gavin came out and we went camping up near Moon Lake. Nancy, Nelson, Ane, Sam & Lucky and Chubs (puppies), Alta and Michael, Jed, Me, Reid, William, Heather, Spencer and Baxter (dog), & Leif, Melissa and Gavin were all there! We had a lot of fun, check out the different posts and pictures for the various things we did!

Some pictures of those who were there

Here are some pictures of some who were there. Reid, I think had
had enough by the end of Saturday night. Alta slept over with us
and Michael came when he was done with guard. Spencer came,
even though he had two broken feet! (from going off a cliff in his
canoe).

More Pictures

Jed of course went fishing, and thanx to everyone who watched my boys,
I was able to fish also. We only caught 3 small ones, but it was fun.

Puppy, Puppy, Dog

What's camping without dogs?! Spencer and Heather
brought Baxter and Ane brought the puppies.

Grandma and Grandpa brought their 4 wheelers with them. It was the favorite part of the little boys day! Reid, William and Gavin all loved it. Whenever Gavin rode and the ride was over and the engine turned off he would cry, but as soon as it would turn on, he would calm down. Grandma took Reid for a ride and came back with him asleep on the back seat. He had his nap there!

How low can you go?!

Here's some pix of two cute boys, close in age yet very different! Gavin is crawling and climbing everywhere while William still prefers his army crawls. It's all good, except when he wants to get around on the dirt. Needless to say we had to dirty babies!

William's stats!

William had his 9 month check-up Wednesday. He weighs 16 lbs, his height is 27.5 in and his head is 18.1 inches round. Which means...
his percentages are...
Weight: 1%
Height: 25%
Head: 71%
Yes, my son has a big head...but it's to hold his big brain in!!! :)

Jed's Fishing Trip to Otter Creek

Wednesday, Jed went to Otter Creek with a friend. Jed took his boat and said it ran like a charm. The weather was beautiful and he actually had a good catch. Between the two of them they caught 26 fish! He later learned they weren't as big as they usually are, but still happy for what he did catch. On the way home wasn't much of a happy trip though. He dropped Scott off and when he was about 20 minutes away from our house, one of the trailer's tires blew. It being 11:30 at night, he didn't want to make me load up the boys (who were asleep) and bring down the spare. So he drove the rest of the way home going 10-15 miles an hour and luckily made it home safely (at about 1 AM). Check out the pix!

New Pictures!!!

The boys needed updated pictures, so I dressed them up and took them and the camera outback and started clicking!!! I've also added a bit about each boy to let you all know how (what) they're doing...

Huh???

I had to add this, I love the looks they both gave me!!!

Reid Nelson

Reid is definitely a 2 year old, but we still love him! He has his attitude at times and it's quite embarrassing when you're caught at the store by a neighbor, but he has his good side too. He's very energetic, a good big brother and loves fast rides. He has so much to say and talks a lot though you can't understand everything. For the most part I can decipher what he is saying! He loves anything you can drive...motorcycles, buses, race cars, airplanes, helicopters, etc.

William Thor

William is now 9 months old and is a very frustrated boy. He can sit up by himself and can army crawl, but doesn't go as fast as his older brother does. So he gets VERY frustrated and complains constantly. Hopefully soon he will learn how to get up on his knees and crawl. Whenever you put him down he keeps his legs straight because he always wants to stand up, though he is still very wobbly. He won't let you feed him unless he is able to feed himself with anything he can grab and put in his mouth. He loves his big brother (i guess 4 lbs counts as bigger). He thinks Reid is hilarious and always wants to be with him. He is a joy to have!

Lagoon!

when brad and gina and their family were here in utah; andrew, heidi, sam, nancy, me and the boys and brad and his family all went to lagoon for a day. We had so much fun (and this time no one tried to kick the teenagers out of the park!) this was reid's first time on all of the rides and he loved them all!. his favorite was the ladybug and the dragon. The ladybug takes you straight up, then drops and bounces you down. reid loved it wheni or mom took him on it but not so much with sam. he was fine in the line, but once the ride started he wanted off! the dragon is a little roller coaster; even william was able to ride on it! there were a couple of rides i wasn't able to go on with him but luckily meagan was there and wanted to ride with him. (unfortunately kayla was too big for the rides). we all had a great time and i know reid would love to go back any time.
