HairCuts!

We all desperately needed haircuts so Saturday was hair cut day!
Enjoy some before and after shots!

I had every intention of going lighter, but that failed miserably, so I had to fix it and go darker!

I can't believe I have a 6 year old!
Happy Birthday

Newport Beach-1st hot day

Last Thursday it got over 90 degrees, so we decided it was a beach day. We went with a group of students from Jed's school and had a blast!

When A isn't used to the situation or the people she is around, she always has this serious look on her face. She slowly warms up and starts to smile...but I promise, she does smile a lot!

I think it's time for a new swimsuit!

Digging for sand dabs!

Spring Break-Part 1

Daddy and R had Spring Break the same week so we wanted to play...unfortunately the weather was to be cold and rainy...fortunately this lady...

And this fun family...
came to visit and play with us (they were hoping to escape the cold weather)! SO sun or no sun we decided we were going to have some fun.
Tuesday we went down to Redondo Beach so Jed can show off his fishing and crabbing skills. We got there too late so we couldn't play on the beach, but the pier was pretty fun.

We got a hotel that night about 20 minutes away from the pier so Daddy and R were able to do some night fishing and crabbing while the rest of us tired folk went to bed.
The hotel was also 20 minutes away from Long Beach where we went to...

Spring Break-The Aquarium of the Pacific

Wednesday we went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. We have a membership to it and the boys never get tired of going! There's always something new to find.

Their faces match!

Daddy kept A most of the time. He loved showing her all of the animals and she loved looking at them.

Proof that I was actually there!

He can be such a goofy kid sometimes!

AHHH! A shark is going to eat me!

Don't worry! I'll eat him for you!
They are definitely related!

She was so tired...Daddy could always get her to sleep!

Spring Break-Knott's Berry Farms

Thursday we took a break and were lazy...so that we could play hard on Friday! We were hoping for Disneyland but ended up at Knott's Berry Farms (which was a good thing because there were about 65,000 people at Disneyland that day)

There were many rides the kids were able to go on and my boys LOVED it! They are such adrenaline junkies! A was able to go on a few and as far as I could tell enjoyed it. She didn't cry but she didn't smile either.
We bundled her up and Grandma held her and A slowly put her head down on her should and instantly fell asleep!

I could only go on this ride with L because he didn't want the extra spinning...I get too sick!

 The fast spinning gang!

More proof that I was there!

 The whole gang!

Look at A! I told you she smiles...she was looking at her brothers!
I was so excited that the boys were able to go on this ride! This was their first time and they loved it.
Right when we got off they went back on with grandma! You can see R's head but you can see his 'rock on' hands!

Jed went deep sea fishing on this day so we had some yummy fish tacos when we got home. He doesn't usually get sea sick but today he did...tells you how bad the waves were!

That night Jed's cousin and his family came by to sleep to break up their long road trip. We had 3 babies, 1 2yr old, 2 4yr olds, 2 5 yr olds, 1 9yr old, and 6 adults (15 altogether) in my house! It worked out better than I expected and was so much fun in the morning!

To end Spring Break, Jed made some yummy BBQ. We had so much fun and loved every crazy minute of it!
