Memories of me..or Jed

So I found this on Janelles's blog and thought it looked pretty fun! Humor me okay?! I'm curious if you remember things that I don't.

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together (or you and Jed). It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. Just let me know which you prefer.

I remember the first time we met you and Jed we were at Austin and Rosanne's for dinner and games. Jed was late due to work but we all got along so well and so quickly. We found out that you and I had a lot of life's experiences that were the same or very close, and that we pick on our men the same way! ;) It's been best friends since then! :)

Hmmm... Where to start?! 7th grade for me, 8th for you: Dopey keychain that reminded us of your crush, Mr. Stump's drama class and Cosmic Cowboy's and the Ya-Ya's. Let's see. Swing dancing at the stake dances. Heart attacking each other. Going to your Wells Family Reunion at that cabin outside of St. George or Cedar City or wherever, swimming in the gutters after a huge rainstorm and SO much more! My life would not be the same if you hadn't been in it! We SO need to get together soon! Love you!

I remember going over to your house with Janelle on New Years Day and having huge waffles topped with everything you could imagine. I think it was a family tradition that your family did and I thought it was so much fun. (well, I am pretty sure it was your house, my memory just isn't quite the same since I had Chloe=)

I remember making jello...you remember? the wizard of oz was on in the background or someone mentioned it, we poured the jello on a cookie sheet because we wanted jigglers, you and I lifted it up and walked to the fridge as you opened it, the pan started tipping, and I yelled antie em, antie em to get your attention! the pan didn't make it to the fridge we both started laughing so hard that it ended up on the floor. I'm laughing to myself right now.

Jello? Antie Em? Twister? Where was I? That sounds fun. But what about the family water fights at the old house? - dad

Okay, Leona, you reeled me in: I met you first at D & J's, and you and Jed were already so comfortable with each other, it was obvious to me we were going to be related! Inside I was laughing - Jed had this list of things he wanted in a wife, long before he even met you, and by golly, he got them all with you! You've been great for him, great for all of us, and a great little mom... I'm sorry we don't see each other more often, but thank goodness for blogs! Love you all, Auntie Karla

So, you haven't posted for a while, so I thought I would add my memory. First, of Jed. I remember he was always such a great brother who didn't care if the little sister (10 years younger) tagged along. Jed took me and Alisa rabbit hunting one day. He skinned it really fast so that we could se the heart beating still. Blood got on Alisa's sock. Then we hiked down to the creek and cooked the rabbit next to the water and ate it with our playhouse dishes. What a great brother.

About Leona, the first time I met Leona she was wearing a green hoodie that matched her eyes and i thought she had really pretty eyes. That was also the weekend we all went camping down in moab and it happened to be my 16th birthday. I just remember thinking she was great and had an inkling I might be seeing more of her.

Okay, Okay. I'm joining the game (though I don't know if I'll add it to my blog - we'll see...). For Leona, my favorite memory is one of the first times I met you and also the time I found out how ticklish you are. Jed was doing the thing where we would just wiggle his fingers at you and you would start giggling. And I loved your cackle when you would win at card games we played. For Jed, I'd probably have to join Alta with her memory. That was a GREAT day. We also tried to shoot a fish with a gun, if I recall correctly. :)
